Thank you for your interest in Hormel Foods. And if you all have never tried SPAM, give it a shot. It's a lot better than you might think, perfectly good as a breakfast food.
I didn't mean to put you on the spot :) Not easy to solve but I would try and partner with other brands eg Huy Fong Sriracha to try and bring in other tribes. Might blow up in my face as a fad with no staying power but a couple might stick. Not sure how to quantify the the idea if worth the risk?
Devin, I love how your visuals (whether charts or pictures) always amplify the story you’re telling.

I can’t help but think about China’s own food safety issues the past few decades. It’s instructive that in both countries one outcome was the emergence of brands with a reputation for quality, eg Nongfu Spring in China.
Thanks, Tian. 100%. I considered making this a considerably longer piece, focused less on SPAM and more on overall productivity -- perhaps something to tackle down the road.

I love SPAM. Fried up with eggs is one of my favorite breakfasts. If/when we finally meet up, we’ll split a can. Thanks, Ian.
SPAM seems to have a image problem with newer generations? How would you remarket it or best to leave it?
I’m woefully under-qualified to answer. Not sure how much of a problem they have - SPAM seems to be slowly reaching greater record volumes over time.
