I’m a “paid up subscriber” as Jim Grant would say. Your newsletter provides me unique insights.
One, you have covered some companies that no one else I read has covered. Chief among them is Haypp. Your writeup was so clear that it was easy for me to understand the value of the company. (If the investment doesn’t work out, that’s on me, not you!) But even your coverage of the small pharmaceutical company UG has been valuable, allowing me to understand other industries besides tobacco.
I appreciate that you don’t confine yourself to a single style. Your coverage of Meta in late 2022 was prescient.
Second, you have a unique writing style. I like that you avoid exaggerated takeaways that plague so many investment articles. You often come up with nuanced descriptions of businesses. I assume this comes from your “write for an audience of one” rule — when we write for ourselves, there’s no upside in writing fluff.
I like investing because to be a good investor requires understanding at least some part of the world. Ultimately by thinking about investments and reading your newsletter, I understand the world a bit better.
Tian, Time and time again you've provided feedback and thoughtful commentary. I am thrilled to know how much you value Invariant and am grateful you are a subscriber.
Good luck, Devin. Your posts are always exceptional, so can only imagine this is the start of something special.
Thank you, Jason. I've been enthralled by what I'm working on. Lot's of good stuff in store.
Good luck, Devin! Wishing you the best!
Thanks, Paul. Greatly appreciated.
I want to congratulate and wish you good luck (not that you need it 😅 with your great research!) on the new chapter 🥳
Thank you, YZ. You've been here since the start!
Congratulations on your journey so far, Devin.

Do I need to unsubscribe and then subscribe back to get paid up?
Hey, Taylor! No - you should be able to go into your user settings and manage your subscription tier.
It says I gotta do it from desktop. 🖥️
Overcame the technical difficulties and am paid up for a year now.
Glad to hear it Taylor. You're close by - we're going to have to get around to meeting up!
Sure, let’s grab a drink or four!
